Nah, I'm not pulling that one again. I'm here to make a small update on the progress of Mochi Cubewars 3D. After about half a month of missing the deadline I set, playing Final Fantasy XV, and eating CUP NOODLES, THE PERFECT BLEND OF MEAT, EGG, AND SHRIMP, I've gotten the game into a playable state (A.K.A. What the original version should've been). I'm beginning to work on polishing the game and adding more gameplay elements such as:
- The shop feature. The reason I haven't started on this yet is due to how bad I am at designing menus.
- A "match modifier" system that can add special rules to matches such as multiplying coins or cubes dropped upon a player's death. It is very close to completion.
- I've also started working on a simple system for differentiating different teams by using insignias that are assigned to each team and the blocks they color, as you can see with the Japanese characters on the red player's blocks. This system is also very close to completion, as I just need to make some more designs for it.
